NO MORE GOOPY IMPRESSIONS
If you had braces as a kid, you might remember what it was like when orthodontists used to use impressions to take molds of your teeth. The doctor would come at you with this goopy tray and you would have to hold your breath for 30 or 40 seconds. Fortunately for your child, it doesn’t have to be that way anymore!
With our intraoral scanners, all we need to do is a simple, digital scan that takes 2 minutes to complete. We then couple that with three dimensional imaging, so we can look at the soft tissue and hard tissue structures. Then you’ll actually get to see us build a three-dimensional model in real time!
3D PRINT LAB
Beyond making impressions easier, more comfortable, and more fun, we also have a 3D Print Lab on site. What that means for you is, within an hour of completing your scan, we actually take this model and print it in our own lab. This shortens your wait time and gives us the flexibility to truly support our patients.
In the event that our community sees a spike for COVID cases in the fall or winter, having our own 3D Print Lab helps us continue care and keep our patients on track.
